The Asia Social Impact Challenge is a regional youth innovation program initiated by Sociopreneur Indonesia, designed to inspire and equip the next generation of changemakers in Asia. This flagship initiative invites students from primary, secondary, and higher education levels to take part in solving real problems in their communities through social innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. With the belief that “a small idea can create a big impact,” the challenge encourages youth to act on local issues that matter — from education gaps to environmental challenges to social behavior — and transform their ideas into meaningful actions.
Participants will journey through various phases, from idea submission to real-world implementation to presenting their results before expert judges. Selected top teams will be able to showcase their work at the Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM) 2025, gaining regional exposure, mentorship, and scaling opportunities. Throughout the program, students will also build essential skills such as critical thinking, empathy, leadership, and collaboration.
Through this challenge, Sociopreneur Indonesia aims to nurture a generation of young leaders who are aware of their social surroundings and empowered to shape sustainable, inclusive, and impactful solutions. It is more than a competition — it is a platform to turn ideas into action and spark a ripple of change across Asia.
Beyond the competition, the Asia Social Impact Challenge fosters a growing community of youth innovators, educators, and institutions committed to building a future-ready generation. The program promotes cross-border collaboration, values-driven leadership, and a deeper understanding of using innovation for social good through partnerships with schools, universities, and regional organizations. It invites young minds across Asia to step forward — not just as problem solvers but as purposeful changemakers.
