Empowering Young Changemakers to Solve Real-World Problems
The Primary & Secondary School category of the Asia Social Impact Challenge invites students from junior and senior high schools across Asia to take the lead in creating innovative solutions for real-life challenges in their communities. Each participating team consists of a group of students (2 to 3 individuals) accompanied by a teacher-mentor who supports and guides the team throughout the challenge.
Participants are encouraged to identify pressing issues in their surroundings—such as environmental concerns, health habits, digital literacy, and social behavior—and turn small ideas into impactful actions. The journey includes problem identification, solution design, implementation, and reflection.
Through this process, students will enhance future-ready skills such as empathy, creativity, collaboration, and leadership, while teachers also gain exposure to practical, project-based learning methods. Selected top teams will have the opportunity to present their projects to an international audience and may be showcased at the Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM) 2025.
This category fosters early exposure to entrepreneurship and social innovation, empowering students and educators alike to become proactive changemakers and responsible global citizens.
